Mid-Range High Power Rifle Match

Location:        TIGER VALLEY Shooting Facility South (L.T. Dillon Range)

Time:              Firing will begin at 08:00 a.m. on Saturday, and Sunday. Squading begins at 07:00 and ends at 07:30 on both days.

Eligibility:       All competitors must be NRA Members. (If you are not an NRA member, come and attend. We will sign you up for NRA membership at the range)

Rules:             NRA rules will govern this tournament.

Entry Fees:     $25.00 per day. NRA fees are included. Squaded Practice on Friday $10.00, unless you attend the match on Saturday, and Sunday.

Squading:        Squading will be held at the statistical office each day from 07:00 a.m. until 07:30 a.m. Firing will start at 08:00 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

Challenge:      A fee of $1.00 will be charged for each lost challenge.

Rifles:             Match rifle - rule 3.3, 3.3.1, and 3.3.2. U.S. Palma Rifle - rule 3.3.3. Service Rifle - 3.1, 3.1.1, and 3.1.3. Any Rifle - rule 3.2. F Class rule. Competitors must declare which category they are entering. For instance, a .308 Winchester rifle with a magazine could enter either as a Palma Rifle or a Match Rifle. Once the declaration is made, no changes will be allowed. Categories may be combined by match officials.

Ammunition:   Competitors must furnish their own ammunition. No tracers or armor piercing ammunition will be allowed. All bullets must remain supersonic at 1000 yards. Ammunition not meeting this requirement will be removed from the firing line.

Saturday:

Match 1: 2 Sighting shots and 20 shots for record at 300 yrds, 22 minutes
Match 2: 2 Sighting shots and 20 shots for record at 500 yrds, 22 minutes
Match 3: 2 Sighting shots and 20 shots for record at 600 yrds, 22 minutes
Match 4: The aggregate of Matches 1 - 3

Awards: The winner of Match 4 within each rifle type will receive $10.00 provided there are at least 10 competitors in attendance and 5 competitors of that type. Types will be combined if less than 5 rifle types are entered.

General: Competitors will be required to pull targets and score. There will be no lunch break. There are five RV hook-ups, showers, and restrooms available at the range. The fee is $15.00 per day.

Safety: All Safety rules at TIGER VALLEY Shooting Facility will be obeyed at all times. An open bolt indicator will be inserted into the breech of all rifles when not on the firing line and firing is in progress. Rifles will not be allowed on the firing line until directed by the range officer. Bolts will not be closed until the rifle is horizontal at the shoulder.
