Training Minutes-Attic Access & Wall Climb What
your about to view is two methods to over come common obstacles, an
attic access and an eight foot wall. We are showing one technique
in each video; there are other techniques to accomplish the same
goals.
As an individual you can climb the wall or attic
way, but you will expend needless energy and waste valuable time in
doing so. It is always best to put the big guy up first in both
techniques as you will you limit the load for the final pull and he
generally is stronger to pull up the last guy.
For the
attic climb you will need about 6 or 7 feet of one inch webbing.
The ends will be tied with a water knot and a loop will be made.
This allows you a stepping point as well as a harness to pull the last
guy through the hole. As each person is brought up the wall or
through the hole, the persons not needed will move off the obstacle to
make room for the other team members.
