John Tillman John served in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman, Scout Sniper, and Sniper Instructor. As an infantryman, John was assigned to an amphibious assault boat company. Later John became a Marine Scout Sniper Team Leader where he and his team provided Marine Infantry Battalions with Reconnaissance & Surveillance, precision rifle fire, and the direction of supporting arms. John was also a Marine Sniper Instructor at 1st Marine Division Sniper School, and an Urban Sniper Instructor with 1st Special Operation Training Group. After leaving the Marine Corps, John entered the private security sector. As a Marine and civilian, John has traveled throughout the world serving as a Marine, Instructor, Sniper, and as a High Risk Dignitary Protection Specialist. John is currently a police officer with the Garland, Texas Police Department and is assigned to the Patrol Division.
