Wayne served 25 years as a law enforcement officer and has been involved in firearms training for the last 27 years. During his tenure as a firearms instructor, Wayne has trained hundreds of officers at both the academy and in-service levels. For the past two years he has trained Iraqi police officers under a Department of State contract. Wayne possesses both SWAT and crisis negotiations experience.

He is an armorer qualified in Glock, Sig, HK, and Remington. Wayne also served on the developing committee for the Texas LE Firearms Training License. Wayne has trained under numerous prominent firearms instructors including:
